I thought of the portmanteau before I did any of the paintings related to it. It actually only shows up towards the end of these ten days of the #100daysproject, but it ended up being a fun subject matter for a few of these paintings.
We have these mystery bulbs popping up all over our yard. I spent a ton of time trying to pull them up and ID them, so I figured I should spend a little more time and paint one.
Spring flowers are starting to pop up more and more in Seattle!
Making some quilt pattern planning…
We are lucky enough to have a view of Mount Rainier from our house which I absolutely love, especially during dramatic sunrises and sunsets!
It’s hellebore season! I love spotting these flowers on my morning dog walks.
Still using these daily paintings to do some practice for other projects like these tara pods (I didn’t actually know what they looked at before starting to work on these!)
Similar to the day before, I’m working on some indigo flowers.
The start of T-abstract-master! (Still working on that portmanteau…) I love the show Taskmaster and think it has some beautifully shot scenes, so I wanted a chance to abstract some and see how they turned out.
T-abstract-master #2, balancing jelly on a pole.
The taskmaster sits on a beautiful red and gold throne, so of course I did an abstracted version of that!
