It’s been a while…
Well, I kind of neglected this blog for a few months, didn’t I? In fairness, things have been pretty busy since last fall…
We adopted a new dog, Cosmo, and I used a sign painting class as an excuse to make him a piece of art….
…and used that same class as a jumping off point to play around with typography and hand lettering again…
I made a bunch more pottery and ran out of kitchen cabinet space….
I went to Portugal and fell in love with azulejo tiles…
…and got to paint my own!
I finished an embroidery sampler that I started YEARS ago…
I had a lot of fun drawing sea turtles for a client project…
I started an oil painting class…
…and the real reason that things have been quiet around here: we moved to Virginia! Not pictured: driving the pups across the country, getting settled in a new house, and starting to explore around Arlington.
Now that things have calmed down a bit, I’m hoping to get back to posting here a little more frequently. If nothing else, I know I’ll want to document how oil painting goes!
