Made big plans for the year, then ignored my blog for six months…

In fairness, things have been busy! And I’ve done decently well with my goals at this halfway-ish point.

There’s been a lot of painting, mostly of sheep.

I’ve also been doing a lot more photography - I got myself a new lens for my digital camera that basically makes it look like a disposable camera and I am loving the results.

I’ve seen some great exhibits and street art that left me with loads of inspiration!

And probably more than anything else, I’ve participated at multiple art markets doing pet portraits and bringing along paintings and prints. They have been a blast - I’ve got a few more lined up this year and I’m so excited for them all. Designing my table and booth setup has been a really fun project. I don’t usually have to think about my own personal branding or how all of my different pieces might interact with one another, but that’s been top of mind lately!

I haven’t gotten to spend much time with my little Provisional Press yet but I have a little running list of ideas for when I do!
