Little Oval Landscape

$45.00

“It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.”—J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings

Oh, to live in the Shire, with the rolling hills and little rivers as your home. This tiny landscape conjures up the softness of an early evening, when you can sit on a wooden chair just outside your green door, sipping on a glass of brandywine. This little fantasy landscape was painted as part of my 2021 100 days project. Framed in a reclaimed golden frame and double-matted.

4” x 3” in 5.75” x 6.75” frame. Watercolor on archival paper.
